Creating a New API Key in Kraken & Whitelisting IP address

  1. Login to your Kraken account.

  2. From the "App switcher" (on top right hand corner) select "Kraken Pro"

  3. Once in Kraken Pro, select Profile > Settings.

  4. Select "API."

  5. Select "Create API"

  1. A Pop-up window will appear

  2. Type "Bitedge" in the Name section

  3. Select all the permissions under "Funds Permission" & "Orders and trades."

  1. Turn on IP address restriction, Enter the three IP addresses, separating each with a comma (,) as per requirements 13.42.214.167 18.130.209.222 13.43.178.122

  1. Click on "Generate key" and then verify identity following the Kraken procedure.

  1. Ensure that you have copied the API & Secret key and kept in a safe place. As the safe key will not be generated again. (You will need to enter these in your Bitedge account)
