# Prerequisites and Dependencies

To effectively use Bitedge, ensure you meet the following prerequisites and dependencies. These are essential for seamless operation and optimal performance of the bot.

**System Requirements**

1. **Device Requirements:**
   * **Computer or Mobile Device:** A PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone capable of running a modern web browser.
   * **Operating System:** Compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android.
2. **Internet Connection:**
   * **Stable and Reliable Connection:** Ensure you have a stable and high-speed internet connection to facilitate real-time data processing and trading.
3. **Web Browser:**
   * **Supported Browsers:** Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge (latest versions recommended).
   * **Browser Settings:** Enable JavaScript and cookies for the Bitedge website to function correctly.

**Account Requirements**

1. **Bitedge Account:**
   * **Sign Up:** Create an account on the Bitedge platform by providing a valid email address and setting a secure password.
   * **Email Verification:** Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
2. **Active Subscription Plan:**
   * **Choose a Plan:** Subscribe to one of the Bitedge plans that best suits your trading needs.
   * **Payment:** Complete the payment using supported cryptocurrencies such as USDTBSC, USDTTRC or USDCMATIC.

**Exchange Requirements**

1. **Supported Exchanges:**
   * **Accounts:** Create and maintain active accounts on the supported exchanges (Binance, OKX, Kucoin, ByBit, Bitfinex, BitMart, Mexc, Kraken, Gate.io, Bitget, HTX, or Coinbase).
   * **Verification:** Ensure your accounts on these exchanges are verified and ready for trading.
2. **API Keys:**
   * **Generate API Keys:** Obtain API and secret keys from each exchange you plan to use with Bitedge.
   * **API Permissions:** Ensure the API keys have the necessary permissions for trading and withdrawal operations. They should also be securely stored and not shared with unauthorized parties.
   * IP Whitelisting: Ensure that Bitedge IPs are whitelisted in your exchanges.

**Subscription/Fuel Wallet Requirements**

1. **Funds for Subscription:**
   * **Supported Cryptocurrencies:** Ensure you have sufficient funds in supported cryptocurrencies (e.g., USDT, USDC) to purchase a subscription plan on Bitedge.
2. **Fuel Wallet Funds:**
   * **Initial Funding:** Add funds to your Bitedge fuel wallet with USDT or Fiero. This wallet is used to deduct a percentage of the profits generated by the AI.
   * **Maintenance:** Regularly check and maintain the balance in your fuel wallet to ensure uninterrupted service.

**Trading Capital**

1. **Sufficient Capital:**
   * **Trading Funds:** Ensure you have adequate trading capital in your exchange accounts. Bitedge requires capital in **USDT, BTC, or ETH** to execute trades.
   * **Diversification:** Consider diversifying your funds across multiple exchanges and supported currencies (e.g., USDT, BTC, ETH) to optimise trading opportunities.

**Security Considerations**

1. **API Key Security:**
   * **Storage:** Store your API keys securely. **Do not share them with unauthorised parties.**
   * **Permissions:** Limit API key permissions to only those required for trading**. Avoid enabling withdrawal permissions if not necessary.**
   * **IP addresses whitelisting: Whitelist Bitedge's IPs** to ensure that only Bitedge can execute trades using your API keys.
2. **Account Security:**
   * **Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):** Enable 2FA on both your Bitedge account and exchange accounts to add an extra layer of security.
   * **Strong Passwords:** Use strong, unique passwords for your accounts. Consider using a password manager for secure storage.

**Software Dependencies**

1. **Web Application:**
   * **No Local Installation Required:** Bitedge is a web-based application, so you do not need to install software locally. You can access it directly through your web browser.
2. **Browser Extensions:**
   * **Optional Extensions:** While not mandatory, consider using browser extensions like ad blockers or script blockers to enhance your online security and privacy.

By meeting these prerequisites and dependencies, you can ensure a smooth and efficient experience with Bitedge. Proper preparation will help you maximise the AI's potential and achieve optimal trading results.
